Fantasy Grounds is a powerful and flexible tool for creating your own maps, scenarios, and adventures for your tabletop role-playing games.
HOW TO INSTALL
1. Open the archive
2. Install all files into G: *`fantasygrounds` *`maps`, maps *`castle`*
3. Go to File -> New File
4. Edit File Properties
5. Save your map as “Map-xxxxx”
6. Go to Program Files -> Fantasy Grounds -> [Fantasy Grounds] -> Edit -> Maps
7. Pick your map
8. Optionally click on the newly created lcd map for the map description
9. Note: Your map can be found in G:\fantasygrounds\maps\sketches
10. Optionally click on the lcd map for the first floor description
11. For example g:\fantasygrounds\maps\towns\forest-tavern-floor-a.lcd
12. Optionally click on the lcd map for the second floor description
13. For example g:\fantasygrounds\maps\towns\forest-tavern-floor-b.lcd
14. Print your map using the print option in the file property dialog
15. Save the map as a pdf or use the printer
General Notes – Forest Tavern (Map Pack)
Forest Tavern is the 2nd Map Pack in the Forest Tavern Series.
This map pack allows you to build, alter and construct the village of Forest Tavern to help you and your players explore and survive in the forest.
One prominent feature of this map pack is that it includes 3 separate maps rather than one large map. Therefore the maps can be saved individually as individual maps.
The village itself can be used together with the four other maps in the other Map Packs of this series (that is: Forest Tavern – No People; Forest Tavern – People; Forest Tavern – People & Train Station; Forest Tavern – People & Train Station & Tavern & Smoky Bridge).
This is a real play map. The village and the surrounding woodland is part of the Ereborhë mountains (In the Tale of Years: North and East Wind) in the Shire of Dale (In the Tale of Years: Town, South West Wind).
General Notes:
– The village is similar in size to the village maps in the Rohan series.
– The model is an expansion of the model

What’s new:
The Problems With The Card
As you know, the one real problem for the New Age Premium edition is that we don’t have an Armory for the purpose of displaying pre-existing card models.
You can’t play Standard the way you would normally play it because you can’t use the new “unofficial” War Boxes which are compatible with existing Standard. The same thing happens with Commander, if you use the official War Boxes, you lose access to all the cards from the Commander’s Bestiary, unless you open it using Rule 0.
You can’t use these cards without opening the box.
I’m like, but what if you want to do a deck of only your favorite commander? What if you want to play in Commander with the slightly less cool (hopefully not) art with Commanding Vigor or maybe you just want to play in Standard on the deck you like best?
Is there any other option?
To this problem we have no easy solution.
Two Solutions?
Worked On
First is the easy solution: simply make an Armory with the new artwork.
I’d be open to suggestions for where to put such an edit and how it should look and feel.
Second is the more balanced (but harder) solution.
That is to work on making each card individually appear as an Arcane Text, that way we can:
delete the art entirely
set the colors to the chosen by default text color
create a new plain text image
This way, the players who prefer new artwork can play without buying new artwork.

This is much easier to do for art that was already complete for the new box, but in general, we don’t want to have to do this; we want to be able to use images we already have.
The Box Warning
That being said, I would caution you to use this as an example of what you don’t want to do.
It’s easier to use, simpler to implement, but you completely miss the point of the box.
The box is not about random cards. The box is not about theme. It’s not even about making sure that cards in it aren’t things you don’t want in your deck

Claus is trying to leave a room, but due to a mistake the door fails to open. In order to get to the exit, the player must bring all his copies to him. Then, he can leave the room and the others will follow him.
A copy of Claus always has the same objective: to form a line with the other copies and reach the exit. In order to do this, the player must avoid spikes that are falling from the ceiling and other obstacles. The game does not end until all copies are together.
Claus is assisted by a queue of copies, which will wait for him where they can. They will continue through another path until all are reunited, and he can leave.
You will play through different stages, exploring randomly generated rooms, which will force you to think about the game and its various puzzles.
