Fitting images in

When you make a new image, you’re in the traditional view of Photoshop. Your toolbars are arranged horizontally and vertically to suit editing photos.

Photoshop has two main sections:

* The first section shows the tools you use to modify the image. This is the area that most people find most interesting, or where they first discover Photoshop.
* The second area gives you a representation of what the image looks like. If you can see the image in the traditional view, you can work with it more efficiently.

Many people don’t think of “traditional” as the place to go when editing, but one of the areas that is important is the Print dialog box, which contains controls for how the image prints on your printer. This area is best accessed from the Resources menu, as shown in Figure 2-1.

FIGURE 2-1: The Resources menu provides a wealth of options for making better prints.

To hide the traditional editing tools, follow these steps:

1. **Click the little arrowhead to the right of the trash can icon in the upper-right corner of the screen and select Standard Edit.**

The current view switches from the traditional editing tools to the image editing tools shown in Figure 2-2.

2. **Click the icon that looks like a paintbrush with a 2 in it on the View menu; then click Classic Edit.**

As long as you’re in Classic Edit view, you can switch to either of the two editing views.

This tutorial will show you how to use a free and powerful image editor called GIMP to edit and create your own memes and text images.

Step 1: Making an Image

You’ll create a blank image to start, but later you can add text and other embellishments like frames, text, and clip-art to the image.

In this case, the image will be a rectangle. Simply right click on the background image and click on Rectangle with Grid.

When creating a new image in the editor, keep the dimensions the same. Fill the space with a solid color, white in this case.

To change the shape of the rectangle, drag the corners of the rectangle and resize the rectangle into different shapes.

Finally, if you want to make the image a square, you can click the center square and drag it to the bottom-left corner. Click Cancel if you change the shape for some reason.

Step 2: Text

Instead of adding text to the images, you can add text to the image, using the built-in Text tools.

You can make your text as big or small as you want, and you can draw text in any color or font.

Start by selecting the Brush tool from the tools bar.

Click on the text tool, and click and drag across the canvas to create your text.

The color and font of the text will match the color and font of the background.

Click the text tool again and select Text from the pop-up menu.

Click and drag around the canvas until you have added your text.

You can use the menu or the toolbars to change the text’s color, font, size, and alignment.

Step 3: Change the Background

You can change the background and keep the text using the Clone Stamp tool, also in the tools bar.

Select the Brush tool again, and click the Clone Stamp tool.

Click the background where you want the new background to be, and click the big black square in the middle of the canvas.

Clone Stamp the Background into the new rectangle and it will cover it.

Select the option text from the pop-up menu.

Click on the text tool again, and write your text.

Step 4: Frames

Frames can be added to images and can be used to add borders, outer-b

* The Eraser tool, found in the Tools palette, allows you to erase various areas of the image.
* The Selection tool can be used to make precise selections of an image; right-click (Windows) or Ctrl+click (Mac) to access the contextual menu.
* The Paint Bucket tool can be used to select an object or group of pixels from the image and remove them.
* The Magnetic Lasso tool in the Tools palette allows you to create a custom path of selected pixels, which can be edited and reshaped.

* The Pen tool can be used to create vector-based artwork.
* The Pixelate filter can be used to remove pixels to control the appearance of the image, like removing texture from a brick wall.

What’s New in the Photoshop 2022 (Version 23.2)?

Python: Pandas read_csv using separate string of identifiers

I want to put multiple columns from a csv into an array and then flatten them into the array. I can do this with pandas:
df = pd.read_csv(‘filename.csv’)
df.columns = [col for col in df.columns]
df_flat = pd.DataFrame(df.values.flatten())

This will create a pandas DataFrame object from the csv. However, I want to create a new DataFrame that contains all the columns together. For this, I add the columns to a list first and then pass it as a string to the pandas read_csv function. However, this doesn’t seem to work:
column_names = [‘column1’, ‘column2’, ‘column3’]
df = pd.read_csv(‘filename.csv’, names=column_names)

I also tried merging the columns before flattening them, but that did not seem to work either:
column_names = [‘column1’, ‘column2’, ‘column3’]
df = pd.concat([df, pd.DataFrame(column_names)], axis=1)
df_flat = pd.DataFrame(df.values.flatten())

I prefer to use the list of columns and you can convert them to str and then have strings instead of numbers:
df1 = pd.read_csv(‘filename.csv’, names = [‘column1’, ‘column2’, ‘column3’])
df1.columns = [‘column1’, ‘column2’, ‘column3’]

You can easily convert them to str by using:
df1.columns = df1.columns.astype(str)

Then you can do some manipulations:
df1.columns = df1.columns.str.strip()
df1.columns = df1.columns.str.replace(‘,’,’ ‘)

Why is it called “TEAM” and why the initials. And we have only one international team now?
I like Team because it’s simple and everything is in one word. “Team” might be the easiest one to remember. I think it is better for Japanese people to understand this by short name.
And why the initials? There is this meaning in old-time Japan.
You know the answer!
It’s because the UK Team is the oldest and strongest team in
